This kind of PR will introduce quite a noise to continuous benches (bevy bencher), but I guess it’s fine as it’s isolated 👍

Oh snap! Find me during the conf and I might have leftovers 👍 ; I’ll also try to go to a few « bar evening » with my stuff to offer smaller spontaneous recreation of that event :)

And it’s way harder to isolate slow work unit in unity than in any other open source ecosystem.

Tell me if you're interesting in hanging out on Monday 12th May in Utrecht, so I get a feeling on what's needed to make it a success! discord.gg/9ezhugbhAM in the "activities" channel is the best place but use whatever works for you. #rustlang #rustweek #bevyengine

I’m working on something where I feel like I’m cooking my own humble vtable (« function dispatching » depending on type parameters) 👀

Wouldn’t you want a « reason for block » then ?

As an example of the performance, Activision's Caldera map, with ~30k meshes and millions of polys is about:
* 60 ms/frame in 0.14;
* 45 ms/frame in 0.15;
* 9.1 ms/frame in 0.16 (with all my PRs landed).
By way of comparison, Blender won't even load the glTF file, it's so big.

Looking at the respawn from mobile makes it look like you’re just falling on a same level, but back to the beginning, it may be a fun respawn mechanism (probably despawn whatever held by the player and profit a smooth teansition 🤔 (background should remain « simple » for that effect though)

The migration guide is helpful, glad it's there or I'd have been debugging that one for hours!
Forcing everyone to have a dummy state is pretty stupid.
"Run on Startup" (and even PreStartup) really sounds like it goes first. Having states go init/run/clean is a clear pattern.
Ick.

Great! Though a bit underwhelming without flashy colors 🤐
