I’m not sure if this means Starmer will punish them or he will have a rethink. Oh wait, who am I kidding?

Federal law prohibits any living person's face from appearing on U.S. currency.

I thought it odd when Nick Clegg announced his departure from Meta but now it all makes sense. Problem is, he’s probably been forced to sign some heavy duty non disclosure agreements, so we’ll never know what really happened.

Everyone needs to write to their MP, and keep writing every couple of months or so when new info is published. If you lent your MP your vote (as I did) make sure they know. A simple letter with a few facts & a personal story is all you need. See www.writetothem.com

Agreed and I would also ban ‘gifts’ to MPs. Why would the FA give Taylor Swift tickets to MPs? What does BBC, JCB or Diageo want in return? As a former Civil Servant, if I had accepted regular gifts from UK businesses, I would have been sacked.

I see that Sainsburys were selling Cadbury mini eggs on Christmas Eve.

In Sept, Labour received £4m from tax haven hedgefund Quadrature. Starmer didnt declare tens of thousands of £s from Lord Waheed Alli for clothes & fashion accessories. Then we heard about hospitality suites, football matches, concert tickets & a private box at Epsom Racecourse. Is this why?

Whilst Starmer completely ignores all the experienced and dedicated people at the FCO who have spent their entire careers training to be professional diplomats and representatives with no vested interests. Jobs for your mates?

There have been 4 ABs of C since 1982 when John Smyth’s sadistic activities were being noticed - Runcie, who died in 2000, Carey, Williams and Welby. They should be interviewed to ascertain exactly what they knew.

Definition of a political party in UK is opaque and vague. It’s time for the Gov to legislate on definition, codes of conduct for MPs, financial/reporting obligations, acceptance of donations (UK citizens only) gifts-none, sackable offences, crossing the floor & 2nd jobs - none! Both Houses!

I am so tired of reading about giant man babies. Rich white men who are used to getting what they want, when they want it and can’t cope with anyone telling them ‘NO!’

I assume the judges were especially selected for balance by Fiona Bruce.

Civil servants pay benefits, collect taxation, write policy papers, write the majority of Ministers speeches, letters & articles, check passports, run prisons, issue driving licences, run the courts & staff British Embassies. They are lawyers, economists & finance experts. Thatcher tried to do this.

A dear friend suffered every month for 25 years. She found the female doctor just as useless as the many male doctors who dismissed her symptoms as ‘just one of those things’ eventually, after 4 weeks continuous bleeding she was admitted to hospital and got the proper treatment.

What happened to all the British philanthropists? Why did the Victorians have so many people trying to make life easier and now, 100 years later, our billionaires & multi millionaires are selfish, greedy, grasping, heartless, narcisists with no redeeming qualities? Where did we go wrong?

Am puzzled as to how a man whose entire family has never ever worked has amassed such a huge fortune.

Perhaps they should adopt ‘grand couvert’ from France and line up a group of peasants and poor people to watch them eat? Bound to raise our spirits and give us an understanding of our place in the world.

Those companies clearly. have a business plan that allows them to exploit children in this way & local authorities are either reluctant or incapable of stopping it or of demanding better. Why is it that big business dictates what our towns and communities look like & not residents?

I worry about his political judgement, does no-one in his own party disagree with this line and argue against it? We know he moves straight to the ultimate sanction if Lab MPs rebel, are they all afraid of being expelled?

He has to maintain diplomatic relationships with all so caution is necessary but I worry about his judgement, esp Brexit, FoM, benefits etc. Is he the only decision maker on Gov policy? Can he veto anything he personally doesn’t agree with? What are his personal executive powers?

Congratulations to all on a civilised and respectful debate. How do you ensure that all debates in the House are conducted in the same way?

Well, frankly, who cares? Why are they still being interviewed by national newspapers? They have done irreparable harm to the UK and should be completely ignored and shunned.

These questions need answers “What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you Tony Benn (former UK politician.

Helping the Dukes of Westminster, Athol, Devonshire, Norfolk & Fife to avoid taxes is not a good look for a party that believes in opposing “all forms of entrenched privilege and inequality” Standing shoulder to shoulder with Farage, Clarkson and Tice must have given you the heebie jeebies?

Farage got security during the GE campaign & Essex Council provided £8k of security at the count. I don’t know who pays for his security. With all his paid work for GB news, speaking events, SM & writing commitments (£1m pa) I’m surprised he has any spare time for being an MP.
