I’d expect it from Fox. The so-called serious news outlets also jumped on the bandwagon. Someday somebody is going to have to do a study on how Fox lowered the standards of everybody in news.

I wish the big charities would get together and put a big push behind developing a vaccine to replace spaying and neutering. Seems like that would be a game changer.

Most of the local shelters i know take in animals from the city pound when they have room but they’re often full.

One of the shelters in our city announced a plan to go no kill. There was quite a pushback because the animals that would normally be euthanized would be sent to the city pound to do the dirty work, and everybody knew that place is borderline inhumane. Eventually, the shelter changed its plans.

Must be why they’re loosening up child labor laws in the Southern states.

Apparently, plumbers and Harvard grad students come from the same recruiting pool. That’s a real paradigm shifter.

NYT editors are amazed by the word “groceries” too. They just watch him babble and say, “How true, how true.”

He just can’t get past that word, can he?

Realistically, it was always going to be a tight election, and it wasn’t the regular Dems who refused to vote for Kamala.

When I hear how disengaged he is, I don’t know whether to be concerned or thankful.

A woman in our city buys containers of unsalted peanuts to feed the birds. They flock to her and she lets them land on her. It’s a nice gesture, but I do worry about bird flu these days.

It’s like they went to Central casting and said give me a treasurer secretary who looks and acts like an upper class twit.

There are a lot of irony-impaired people on this thread.

The media projects the same non-existent integrity onto Rubio now. He’s just the new Lindsey Graham.

And Michigan voted for Trump so she’d be basically spitting at more than half of her state’s voters if she didn’t go along with it.

I’d be nervous if I thought they could pull it off.

I always looked up to the Steelers, but I really don’t understand what they’re doing.

If there are any legit reporters left in the White House press room, they should get out. They’re just gonna soil themselves and their employers by taking part in a propaganda circus. Of course, that’s assuming they have any integrity left.

Hegseth, Noem and RFK Jr. are running neck and neck for craziest cabinet member, and I foolishly put all my money on Tulsi.

He knows shockingly little about everything he’s been talking about. I’m pretty sure that’s a hallmark of this regime.

Self-examination is not a hallmark of members of this regime.

Don’t get too excited. I’m sure the next choice will be equally bad.

When he won election the first time, I kept saying, “I have total confidence that he’s gonna screw up this job. He’s screwed up everything he’s ever done. Why would this be any different?” I just never thought voters would be stupid enough to give him another chance.

Only the Dems can lose an election on economic issues to a guy who had us standing in line for toilet paper.

Made me laugh when the mainstream media acted like Rubio was quietly appalled by Trump and Vance’s behavior. Rubio has always been a younger version of Lindsey Graham. Of course, the media once acted like Lindsey was a serious pol who had a moral core too, so I guess the pattern repeats.

Funny how he neglected to mention the press as part of this “mass movement.”

The Daily Show invented embarrassing clips from the past. None of the so-called serious news programs were doing it until the Daily Show starting mining old clips during the Bush administration. Seriously, they should have gotten some kind of Pulitzer for inventing a new type of reporting.

“In May, a local pet owner claimed that her Himalayan sheepdog began “wobbling” after eating feces possibly containing opioids and marijuana.” I think that happens a lot in major cities. A friend in a large Midwestern city had to get her dog’s stomach pumped for the same reason.
