I fully acknowledge it's so much easier for me, a white guy, to casually say this, but nevertheless: I honestly think the only real effective route for Mamdani against this is to just fully go to war against the Democratic Party over it. He should openly say exactly what this post does.

A moth expert friend invited me to join the Indiana Academy of Sciences Bioblitz at Eagle Marsh Preserve in Ft. Wayne, IN last weekend. We searched for butterflies during the day, and the Lepidoptera, beetle, and spider teams communed around our lights at night. A great time. ID in comments. #nature
