He catches himself, but he's pissed off and you can hear that he almost said "f*cking spine".

LOL - nope. I only watched the first inning. Worse than watching a beer league slow-pitch softball game. The Dems ended up getting crushed, 13-2.

They are ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต your "colleagues", Senator. They are, at best, cowards, and, at worst, traitors to their oath and the Constitution.

I've been voting Democratic for 40+ years and this party never, ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ learns, which explains how, even after the first Trump term and the January 6 insurrection, we now have a second Trump administration, the GOP controlling both houses of Congress, and a SCOTUS packed with conservatives. ๐Ÿคจ

Just ignore it. I've been added to lists about topics I've never even discussed. I block the list creator and move on.

Nah, Florida will still get federal money. It's a reliable red state and Trump has his house there.

The senior officers you mention in the article appear to be either more concerned about their careers than the oath they took or they're MAGA themselves and are on board. Neither is good.

I fear we're moving steadily towards an event that will dwarf Kent State.

For the WC, national teams should state that they will not participate in any games held in the U.S. That would force FIFA to reschedule those teams' games - and the finals - to either Mexico or Canada. FWIW, a championship match at Azteca Stadium would be better than MetLife Stadium anyway.

Government tyranny is fine with them when it's done against people they hate.

Based on the results of the 2021 gubernatorial election and the 2024 presidential election, Republicans here in NJ believe they have a real opportunity this year and are leaning even further into MAGA. NJ is closer to being a purple state than a blue state and Dem voters need to show up in November.

Months before the 2016 election, you wrote an article supporting Clinton over Trump in The Federalist, no less. That must have made you really popular with that crew. ๐Ÿ˜„

June 1973. As a kid, I remember excitedly looking forward to seeing "Battle for the Planet of the Apes" at the movies, the so-called "final chapter" of the series. A bunch of friends and I went to see it after the school year ended later in the month. Turned out to be...disappointing. ๐Ÿซค
