Absolutely wild, and part of the reason I love Stocker. The occasional odd take, but he's always paying attention and offering interesting thoughts

are you saying it gets your motor going?

I love how annoyed he is that he couldn't say "a majority of people"

Oh hell yeah

Maybe it's more accurate to say I don't want to deal with the confidence of people who will speak to it at times. Reading about a guy's xwOBA for years like it meant something was enough

It's a look under the hood that makes it easy to see what certain players are doing

Skenes has a year of service time and everyone is so confident he's getting traded at some point that people have to say "no not yet"

The AI doesn't recall saying good luck

Can you also fix how updates screw up messages with iPhones because that's a new fault, too, thanks

What if instead of assuming we never have enough time, we assumed we had exactly the right amount, and just treated it that way

Lmao I didn't even catch that part. Maybe he's assuming "printable" means "pretty enough for the fridge." You know, like how "permanent" means "while alive"

So you can mail it and still look like you did it yourself instead of being a piece of shit

The Paul Patrol theme was weird, I never knew he liked the name Paul so much

Lost in this, too, is how you're loading people's personal information in there with zero permission, and don't have a clue where it's ending up or who can access it

While on the toilet, to still maximize efficiency

I titled the original draft Aaron Nah-la before figuring out a real title. Then the editors one-upped me with the subhed, anyway. This is why you subscribe to Baseball Prospectus.

Asserting himself for what he feels is the best looking product? Nah man we got more words to fudge the meaning of

goddamn this makes so much sense

Heh, no, I'm not there yet. Odds are you're not finding anyone who is better than him when he's on

His adjustments have always been about simplicity more than a drastic overhaul. That's also the kind of thing that's hard to spot and know to implement. How he is once he comes off the IL is going to be fascinating

He's also never been the prototypical ace, even as he's been on the periphery of that group for a long, long time. It's always made fans worry about him but even this round of ineffectiveness could be an exception to his own exceptional profile.

Also Mick Abel from two weeks ago

Ha yeah that one too, I should probably add that

Yes the rotation depth would go to the bullpen in the postseason if they're all healthy but they gotta get there first
