Class-based politics are vitally important, but they’re inextricable with racism and sexism — because these classifications are the three primary systems by which the infernal machine of this country runs. And there *are* a number of people who desperately want to avoid discussing the latter two

Not enough critical thinking skills to track causality between a recent past and possible futures; just enough to descriptively assess the present situation as bad; not enough to think how it could be made different, other than to assure you that any left or progressive approaches are, yes, bad.

You can see here that the threat of the far and extreme right is clearly not taken seriously It's a spectacle. It has no impact on them or the people they know. It's thrilling but they know they'll be just fine and it doesn't matter if others are not

I would literally rather just chuck some chicken in the air fryer at home as a pre-theatre meal than go to Côte or Pizza Express. Dining out is now Popeye’s or Michelin stars, the mid market is dead to me!
