Why? Just leave the kids alone. They will find their own way.

Nothing. This is a matter for the EU and governments.

He should have been arrested for harassing people and taking the law into his own hands.

I think the article overstates matters. Most of what was agreed is simply a list of matters to be negotiated in the future. And the EU walked away with the fish. The best thing that could happen in the short term is to allow the UK to use e-gates. People going on holidays would see that. A benefit.

Last week flew back to Brussels from Dublin. I am Irish. Cleared border control in 1 minute through the e-gate. There was a queue for non-EU citizens that I estimate was at least 4 hours long. Go figure.

If the deal delivers e-gate access at airports, Starmer can claim, and rightly so, that he has made life easier for UK business and holiday travellers. People will see the benefits. The Mail can go howl at the Brexit moon.

Delusional.

Yes, because No 10 is run by a bunch of political amateurs. If they are such brilliant political strategists, how come Labour only got 34% of the vote at the GE?

Should not this headline read: Make me PM and I'll make this country even poorer than I have already made it with Brexit.

Properly said, Peter. Where are the voices in Labour challenging this nonsense? Young voices who see a different path forward. Articulating a decent centre-left agenda? If there are any such people, now is the time for them to stand up.

Since when does a UK PM refer to British citizens as "Brits"?

What if the whole world says, fine we won't bother shopping in your store. We will go elsewhere. Which is what will happen.

If you look, the centre-left, Labour, Liberals, and Greens are together close to 50%. Underscores the lunacy of the FPTP system in the UK.

One thing Farage does not do is work from his constituency office, if he has one. He is a "political nomad" working from wherever someone pays for an airline ticket for him to be, which would seem to be mostly in the US, bootlicking Trump.

Is Trump now proposing to introduce Soviet-style central planning and quotas on consumer goods?
