Also an explanation of how the laws of physics are not optional, regardless of regulations or profit.

A very good documentary and a great example of why regulations matter.

Ah so not only was this assessment correct, it is even far worse.
It’s simple legalised corruption in its most grubby dirty form.

My presentation at FNI tomorrow is hosted by @sidsareen.bsky.social and he's written about Norway's need to invest in railways here www.altinget.no/artikkel/ove...
Writing this post from a slow, non-electrified line north of Trondheim I can relate to that! 😀

In night train to Boden, announcement: "Passengers to Narvik must take a replacement bus Boden-Kiruna, and a train Kiruna-Narvik"
But in Boden there is a TRAIN to Kiruna, but operated by Norrtåg, and I am on it - with Interrail
SJ *organised buses* instead of asking Norrtag to take its passengers!

Nuclear takes decades to build and is expensive. The reason renewables can't be built quickly is that fossil fuels is blocking them politically. That's the only reason the build out is slow. FF is NOT blocking nuclear, because nuclear cannot be built quickly, and it is more expensive than FF.
