Like as much as I want him to, "I refuse the presidents order and command the national guard to stand down" is a gun you can only fire once

DAVID CAGE IS FRENCH?

particularly when you have like a dozen main targets and then dozens of secondary ones
comment in response to post
also the issue with a non linear story with so many targets is that the time to develop your big bad guy before you kill them is like... a couple hours? at most? and so they end up as forgetable

like you can turn Naoe into a murder blender but you can't make Yasuke not suck at Parkour or stealth (you know, two of the three pillars of an assassins creed game) and therefore he feels like half a character and out of place which sucks cus I like what they do with him

mind bogglingly stupid decision to have scenes where both characters are engaged in combat, you then get to pick one, and then the other just... fucks off into thin air. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
comment in response to post
also the single biggest issue is the disconnect of having this bad ass partnership between the two that we never see in the gameplay, we only ever see in cutscenes
comment in response to post
i actually liked Naoe and Yasuke but they didn't actually have time to grow their partnership except like three side missions
comment in response to post
"pick any mission" is just bad structure! you can't realistically pace character development around it!

Now, imagine a simple model in which activists opt to engage in nonviolent or violent resistance and then the state responds with typical or excess force. (To be clear, the world is more complicated, but these simplifying assumptions help us describe some common patterns.) 3/

Nom Tichols clearly still hates democrats in a way that Tim Miller or Bill Kristol don't

You are not morally forbidden from opposing fascism with violence. But you are morally required never to throw that match, even if that means refraining from tactics that are both permissible and satisfying.
