Depends on your gameplay style, I struggled a little with some combat dynamics but they have a story mode that is very forgiving & I was able to finish the game at a relatively low level. The game isn’t super long either, so I think 1 month is doable

There’s SO much to love about this game, from story to characters, to unique gameplay and creative storytelling. To the memorable & multilayered way they wrapped up the ending. It’ll remain for sure one of my top RPGs and fave games of all time 💖

However, thanks to the story mode option, I was able to still enjoy a challenging combat experience with little grinding & less focus on those mechanics, even if I wish I had been able to further customize those options. This didn’t ruin my experience with the game though.

My only gripe was with the dodge & parry dynamics. Subjective & purely personal preference, but for me, it didn’t quite work in turn-based format. IMO the high risk/reward setup ended up devaluing some other combat mechanics. Since it’s not an action game, those felt more like a rhythm game 😩

Gameplay-wise, I loved how it integrated elements from some of my favorite games, along with the old-school vibe of nostalgic RPGs, while at the same time, making it unique. The combat brought some interesting dynamics with all the passives & skills options you could combine.

My favorite parts of this game were the storytelling, music, and creative direction. Definitely one of my top soundtracks. The way they handled narrative choices and story progression made this game truly unique. And the best part is that, despite some risky moves, they wrapped it up beautifully!
