I hate La Liga intensely. I wish I could stop watching it

Ah okay so I checked the code and because the backtrace of the closure is hashed the code knows when to call the closure again. Really sometimes Laravel freaks me out πŸ˜‚
comment in response to post
Hmm πŸ€” and how does this closure know about the $id? Because you only give the function this closure
comment in response to post
What happens if you provide another `$id`?

This is no longer possible because the world around a piece of software changes and faster than back in the day. Try installing that program now on a new OS and you will fail

It’s never really a good idea to fix something by potentially breaking other stuff. Obviously the last part you can never be sure of but in this case strict mode has a purpose. I’d read about the consequences first before proceeding. But generally I would not turn it off 😬 tinyurl.com/y62zc986

I’m guessing you can get a lot of things done the same way in other ide’s but since I discovered PhpStrom I never looked back πŸ˜„
comment in response to post
Right, I think most do it that way because Laravel encourages it in this way. Which is absolutely fine obviously. For me it’s just since I discovered containers and how it worked it made everything easier like a sunny day πŸ˜„

I used to use tools like these as well and even do local development. But all my troubles went away (haha of course new ones came) with matching the real production environment. Having all the side tools as well, db, redis, elastic, a proxy etc etc.
comment in response to post
Why aren’t you using docker tho? Or my question would be why do Laravel devs rely on these specific tools?
comment in response to post
There is CMS's for Laravel too 😁 the main difference is that frameworks like Laravel are made for all kinds of applications. Whereas WordPress is really designed for only one purpose.
comment in response to post
But yeah, I encourage you to look into it more and learn all about it πŸ‘
comment in response to post
I'm surprised there is devs out there that are using WordPress while they can actually use something like laravel πŸ˜€ No offense, but tools like WordPress feels like a huge struggle to me.
