I mean cool Bernie but you were elected to fix it, not the working people.

The majority of Americans aren't delusional enough to think he gives a rat's ass about their problems. But the problems still remain regardless of who is president, and they are only becoming worse with time. For a great number of Americans, a good economy doesn't improve their life enough to matter

I mean not for nothing but our founders had due process in mind

I imagine that has a lot to do with their own personal struggles. That which makes the economy good does not make life affordable for the majority of Americans, and denying this is what has gotten us where we are now.

Maybe, just maybe, when someone is behaving like a fascist and violating the constitution on the daily, we have a duty as Americans to say, "No, I will not honor that. I do not respect that, and I will not pretend to." Perhaps we should stand against tyranny.

Tell me you don't know how retail inventory works without telling me. The best way to absolutely bork your working capital is to carry too much inventory. These people are morons.

He's such a dipstick. Has he considered it's one of the highest stress jobs there is? Has he considered the US treatment of mental health? 25 years seems like long enough.
comment in response to post
Sorry. Best we can do is 15 fewer years.

This is amazing. Thanks. I'm going to try if.

Oooohhh boy has that women never heard of or considered disabilities and it shows. Doesn't make as good of a sound bite to say, it's okay to quit if you're hurting yourself, though.

Imperialists and genocide enablers.

are available. The US's problems won't be solved by better campaigns. They will be solved by making lobbying illegal, making it illegal for our representatives to invest in individual stocks, and eliminating the electoral college. We need more options. Not the same garbage strategies from

Health insurance. These are the best we have and they have no interest in being progressive. They are looking to fund genocides. People are not voting for them because they are objectively bad. The solution is not making them better but tearing down the system tha6lt made them so better options

How have I put others down? I haven't been swearing. I haven't called you any names. I have experienced American politics for decades. And the democrats have gone progressively (oddly) more right the entire time to try to entice moderates and meanwhile 10s of thousands die every year from lack of
comment in response to post
Also keep swearing. That doesn't mean we don't need to dismantle the system that gives us the choice between center right and radical right. The democrats are the ones moving right to placate people who are never going to vote for them.
comment in response to post
The democratic party not clearly having an agenda, or managing to make people's lives better or standing up against genocide does little to motivate people to vote. I voted. I can understand people not voting when the choices are continue to bomb children or maybe don't continue to bomb children.

Cool story bro when you have criminalized homelessness, housing is unaffordable, and people can't crawl their way out from under their student loan debt. Democrats aren't the answer. Not anymore.

and everything else that is just taken for granted in every other developed country. I'm tired of every generation doing markedly worse than the one that came before them. And democrats losing elections because they refuse to acknowledge that people are struggling. But the economy is great.
comment in response to post
every year to placate voters they are never going to get and another that keeps leaning into fascism, christofascism, and oligarchy. This country is broken, and we can't just vote it away. I'm not a child. I'm tired of not having paid maternity leave, single payer health care, mandatory vacations
comment in response to post
Haha. A lot to learn. I have learned this from decades of the democrats moving to the center to capture votes that they never got. I have been learning for many years. Look at Europe. They actually get to choose from an entire political spectrum where we get one party that gets more conservative
comment in response to post
I am NOT a Democrat. The democrats abandoned the left for neoliberalism years ago. Why would someone who was on the right care about lgbtq+ rights? It's not a binary. You don't have to choose one or the other. The whole system is terrible.
comment in response to post
And their parents who were threatened with being criminalized. Because it wasn't a 100% popular stance. It was the right thing to do, but the democrats are always afraid of alienating the center. They're never brave. They are cowards that cater to the worst people who may possibly vote for them.
comment in response to post
Tell me they were prominently featured in her policy. Or really at all. She was running on the assumption she would be better than the alternative which is true, but she was never brave enough to say anything. Never brave enough to defend teans kids that were losing their medical care
comment in response to post
They abandoned LGBTQ+ people and took their defense out of policies to appease the center and the bigots. Try and get young people fired up about someone who sees your rights as negotiable. I guarantee that won't play.
comment in response to post
That is not a left. Bernie is barely left in most European countries. The democrats have been centrists since Bill Clinton. Who gave us such charming legacies as welfare reform and the crime bill. And now every candidate feels compelled to move to the center to win.
comment in response to post
People are not voting because the politics has pushed to the right. They came out in droves for Biden part 1. They didn't for Harris. Why? Because she abandoned Democratic ideals. You don't get to keep the votes forever if you do nothing for the people. We need additional parties.
comment in response to post
But honestly, to not have one major candidate condemn genocide is a hell of a gut punch for the American people. I can understand not wanting to vote.
comment in response to post
They're not the same. But we don't legitimately have a left in the US because socialism has been demonized by propaganda. You can either browbeat someone like Biden into doing some of the right things or live in fear of fascism from Trump for 4 years while he undoes every tiny good thing Biden did.
comment in response to post
Both the electoral college and the financial constraints of establishing a new party are prohibitive.
comment in response to post
Our system is deliberately set up to only have 2 parties. We all want other options because you get a radical right candidate vs a center right candidate in every election. But it is impossible for other parties to get a foothold.

Hey Patrick. I didn't know you were here!
