I misread it at first and thought the Pennsylvania part of the license plate was the most problematic which is entirely fair tbh then i fully awoke and realized what it was i do hate living here sometimes

The new Kona EV is on my shortlist of EVs I would test drive and potentially buy Ioniq 5 is probably out of my price range but damn it's nice
comment in response to post
Normally I'd take the Hyundai offering over the Kia one, but the prior gen Niro EV is much nicer than the Kona EV

Easily the GLI despite it being stock, although usually the problem ones are MK6 or earlier (lowered, fartcan exhaust, pop tune, etc) The GT-B just gets weird looks when people realize I'm driving on the other side, and the Fiat... exists.

If they're reasonable I might pick one up as a daily replacement when that time comes

Schumacher and Hakkinen. The 1999 season was my first and as a three year old, of the races I could see I was hooked.

What wheels do you have on there? Been looking for a second set for the GLI for track use and those look correct on your wagon

I took the Taconic Parkway on the trip to Lime Rock a few years ago (and again when buying the GLI.) I thought PA roads were sketchy. I was wrong. And I forgot about it the 2nd time I went there.

I've used it in the GT-B a few times (the sportshift buttons are on the face of the steering wheel rather than paddles, which is interesting) although I don't really push it at all as that was never the intention with buying it. Everything else has been manual or a walking cane auto (like the Expo)

every time you post something new it's like an exercise in self-control especially for TE37s

I've never actually owned one with crank windows (even the Expo had power ones) Last one my family did have was our '86 Vanagon which I do miss to this day.

I have a soft spot for Nissans of that vintage... but I'd take the Celica as it's one of the only Toyotas I actually want.

You know... maybe it was a good idea that the Camaro 1LE I was interested in wasn't affordable at the time... and that my dad hated the Bolt we test drove.
comment in response to post
I wouldn't mind a cheap car from that list as a replacement for the Fiat... with the exception of the Mirage. It might have just been the one I drove, but that did not feel stable at all (or safe, for that matter)

pontiac aztekcore thoughtprocess from the subaru design team yet again lol

I wish we got the Levorg STI here.
comment in response to post
I originally thought this was the EV thing, which I don't hate. No idea what Subaru's gameplan is anymore though.
comment in response to post
Just give me the Levorg STI already

The only bike I've ever owned is a '79 CM400T so I can't imagine what this must be like. (mine is still broken for what it's worth lol)

I do need some kind of front plate for the GT-B... as long as I won't get in trouble for running it (PA only mandates a rear plate.)

Indeed, even with the still filthy state the subie is in

The only acceptable modification in my mind is swapping in a CA18DET (not an SR20 in this case) as I have a personal grudge against the single-cam KA24Es the american market got problem is, doing that the right way is not what someone will do

I do wonder how much money is being given to edmunds at this point to praise the swasticar brand

one of my biggest regrets as a sports car junkie was never hearing the Z4 GT3 in anger

ah that explains it, i don't follow any drivers outside of samantha tan and ryan eversly lol

I think I like it because it's unique enough in a sea of bland cars although my issue with the 6 lies with the digitalized interior stuff. If I had the money this would be an easy candidate to replace the Fiat as a daily, but with my budget I'm more ok with the first-gen Niro EV

ever since the tokyo xtreme racer drift series i've had an appreciation for these

During a couple road trips I've used the functions found in the GLI for calling people but I also think that this specific model year (2019) has some weird bluetooth/android auto behavior so aside from that I avoid it neither of the other cars I own have this

the only reason I will give Adam the benefit of the doubt here is that in every single interaction I've had with him, he's been one of the nicest people to talk to in the entire paddock obviously still wary, but from my personal experiences he's different and I hope that proves true

I was planning to go to the April 13th one with the GT-B, is there an entry fee or anything, or is it show up with a theme correct car and don't be an ass?

If I had to pick an RX7 to own, it'd be an FC. Not that I don't like the FD, but the FC styling speaks to me in a way the FD does not.

My '89 240SX would average around 16 mpg (single-cam KA24E) until I replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, and a bad injector... went up to 21.
