Chest freezer, tins, long life veg such as carrots, swedes, peppers etc. Just keep an eye on the use by dates.

Elon Musk should build a craft that will travel one way to Venus. It must carry a minimum of four passengers. Payload not much because there is no steel amongst them.

Ed Miliband should at the least make public disquieting noises. He surely has sufficient status to do this.

Even the great Elden Ring falls for that one.

Rogue's Gallery. Can see why they went inside now. Not temperature.

There are two ways to see this. One is London centric expansion at the expense of the cancellation of northern HS2. The other is growth at the expense of the climate. Likely both. Disgraceful. Our political parties are letting us all down.

my apologies. i am used to foreground stars being in the milky way. thank you.

Foreground stars are not 5 million light years away, 5 thousand light years would be a better order of scale.

Why on earth is there such concern over the next election. Labour should just get on with what has to be done. They are in a postion to do so. In any event global circumstances may be quite different.

Russia's armory must be getting low now. They seem to have no confidence in their superplane, the Felon, only using it behind lines and two damaged on the ground by drones. Memories of the Mig-25.

So you cut red tape for house builds. So you build on flood plains, build with no adequate infrastructure such as roads, drains or surgeries. Red tape has a reason, makes things civilised. No red tape means third world.

Rishi kept the circus on the road. Till the inevitable. He quit early because it made no difference.

Old El Paso's all round then. Hope there's some left for us in UK.

Loose cannon shoots off another one. Long may she remain as Leader of the Opposition.

I have lived and worked in East Central Scotland for 40 years. When people hear me for the first time they ate surprised by my West Riding of Yorkshire accent. Not put on, just how it is. Never gone away.

I feel despondent. Consecutive articles in the online Guardian today were the state of the Gaza Strip and the state of the NHS A&E services. Not the paper’s fault, they represent reality, not to mention the LA fires.

People always try and find a way around these conversations. From both sides.

It is rather sad that politics counts more than the economy both for the Electorate and the Politicians. Media has a part as well.

I had rather hoped that with a name like Donald Tusk he could be UK PM.

Thank you for that. I’m an xbox user who didn’t know about it.

Scotland, UK. I’ve used auto gearboxes for 15 years now. Hired a manual two years ago, driving it round my local urban area was a complete nightmare, loads of roundabouts and traffic lights. Early auto boxes were not great but todays are very good.

Taking photographs with my Minolta SLR camera equipped with a 75 to 200mm zoom lens. Especially if you had a very short time to set it up. I think I still have a Pioneer receiver.

We have the same here in the UK with many sports programmes starting an hour before the game or race to overload the viewer with waffle. Some background helps, but really….

I sponsor Wikipedia, not a lot, but if a tenth of users gave the same….

Maybe the PM is concerned to be in role himself by the next election. I had rather thought, however, that a Gov UK elected with a no worries majority would just get on with it and get the unpopular but necessary stuff out of the way. Generally in line with their manifesto.

Are there any other UK journalists, correspondents, broadcasters, personalities, posting on Bluesky? Everything else I’m getting is from USA. All good but I’m being overwhelmed.

The present is important because it’s all you have. All things new are not necessarily bad. From me “Don’t run your life on prejudices. Make up your mind as you go along”. It’s called being alive.

I got into Elden Ring at 76 years old. Prior to that only played racing car sims, with wheel. So it was my first proper xbox controller game. What a blast, sensational game.

“Make it look like an accident double O seven” Spoken by HM Queen Elizabeth in the intro to the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. About you know who. How could you do this to us, America? POTUS affects the whole world. You are entrusted to vote.

Just in case, of course. In most games it costs nothing to hold , you can’t always go back for them and you don’t know what you might need later on. Unless of course it is game that allows NGs.

I play Elden Ring in single player mode and thoroughly enjoy it. The Groups provide helpful info on the game Bosses but many posts are clearly concerned with Person v Person.

I may get sent to the naughty corner for this but if it’s edge on how are we sure its a spiral? Oh I know, we had a look from the Moon.

This all seems a bit of a flimsy excuse for a Minister to go.
