What actor's expression in a movie will stay with you for the rest of your life?

A new #TwinPeaks reaction series has begun! I like the cut of this guy’s jib: youtu.be/ziZZ6HwWIos?...

this guy rules

Bonkers good

Today is the birthday of French artist Jean Giraud, aka Mœbius (May 8, 1938-March 10, 2012).

My May 4th tradition:

I’ve been playing so much Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that it feels like my biorhythm has switched to 3/4 waltz time. What a gorgeous game!

Nice parallel with SINNERS.

Resistence is NOT futile

There it is. The clam before the storm.

Previous to the FDA, folks would put chalk and plaster of Paris in milk to make it appear white. They could also add formaldehyde to cover the smell and taste of spoiled milk.

I’m a huge fan of The Last of Us games, as well as the series, so I waded into YouTube over the last couple days to watch over a dozen reactions to Sunday’s episode, and my conclusion is…the average television audience is a great deal more emotionally mature than gamers. Perhaps no surprise there.

This is getting fewer headlines than it should. After coming to power promising to help working people, the president is revealing his real priorities by actively making it easier for banks to rip people off.

Good one

Why Men Refuse Help

Was happy to see that Ethel Cain is the first out trans person to hit the Billboard top 10, and it was solely with the recent, much-anticipated vinyl release of her album Preacher’s Daughter. I feel this is the best album about a downward spiral since The Downward Spiral. Picked up my copy today!

Happy 35th Anniversary, Twin Peaks. Here are your hosts Karl ( @c-esp2.bsky.social) and Jubel at the entry point to a Place Both Wonderful and Strange

the shift from “I never thought leopards would eat MY face” to “eat my face harder leopard daddy” must be studied

you know things are going well when they break out the turnip photos

Here's the clip mentioned in my last post:

As I watch Britt Lower (of Severance) do media events, I am reminded of Kyle MacLachlan: neither are caught-up in how devastatingly attractive they are, nor are they afraid to look silly. Both are kind, goofy, and seem to just be happy where they are. Here she is playing Trumpet on Jimmy Fallon.

I voted, and you should, too. Give #TwinPeaks some love!

Petty Pumpkins, a delightful reaction channel, have a poll up for what tv show to tackle next, and #TwinPeaks is on it. Give this a quick vote, Peakies!

Why can these imbeciles accept that it *seems* more prevalent now because it's more accurately diagnosed? There's no great mystery here.

This isn’t a comprehensive list of folks in our anthologies or magazines or who maintain their privacy, but if you’re looking for Tenebrous titles for the #transrightsreadathon this list is a great place to start 🖤☠️🏳️‍⚧️ #transreadathon store.tenebrouspress.com/collections/...

I do not accept as normal and not worth remarking upon that government officials are now regularly threatening to prosecute opposition members of Congress for disagreeing with them.

We once lived in a world (1990) where Akira Kurosawa cast Martin Scorsese to play Vincent van Gogh in a movie based on his dreams. “When that natural beauty is there, I just lose myself in it.”

Without France, we'd be printing new pound notes with King Charles III on them.
