So that was what it looked like from the front! @daywpg.bsky.social and I could only see the unicorn from behind, and still loved it!

I couldn't find the words so asked AI. Pretty accurate

With the exception of our "Bible belt in the south of the province, Manitoba agrees completely. Just be a good human. The rest is up to you.

From a Manitoban who made it to the other side, it's worth the effort!

Yeah, southern Manitoba is our Bible belt and very rightwing. Also, it was a Saturday and they literally sent out emails begging people to come. I have never received sush requests from any other party. Plus the provincial cons are running their leadership race right now. All exposure I guess.

Thanks! Getting married there in July and trying to support the local economy as much as possible.

Wow! I was searching for breweries in Winkler/Morden last week and couldn't find one! Will go see if they have a website and sell kegs!
Thanks!

Then do something. Now is the time. Show us you're actually with us and not him.

I think we should change in spring, but then table legislation to leave it that way. Stay on DST.

We have to stop seeing it as a "one size fits all" solution, when the causes are not.

AA has been effective for SOME who have sought treatment, but for so many it's just not the answer. I know so many who have been told it's the answer, and having it not help made them feel like failures. Some just need a different approach. Like SMART, guided by science instead of religion.

Thanks Jorts. I promise that 🇨🇦 will still love you and the nice people from your country, even if we have to act mean to protect ourselves for a bit.

I'm so glad they can't impose tariffs on here because I would miss you, Jorts.

I mean, some years FEEL a lot longer. Like 2020. That year had to have a few more weeks than they told us about.

Our rural communities are especially reliant on Canada Post, since they are often the only ones to serve these areas. As a crown corporation they are obligated to offer services to all whereas private companies only serve where there is a profit to be made.

Sadly, this was exactly the reason I assumed.
Thank you for being there to help them.

Yeah, I was puzzled by them only taking one down as well. Hopefully this will finally be the end of that building. Every time I worry someone will die in the fire/collapse "this time"

Manitoba rejects this. We are finally recovering from years of conservative provincial governments with the most popular premier in the country. Please don't sacrifice us now that we're leading the way out

Have you tried Grand's? He uses the OLD Robin's recipes. Amazing.

Winnipegger who spent 7 years in Birmingham here. Despite the rain, I never/rarely got a booter in Brum, so less need for its own word. BUT wow- that bone chilling dampness could be much harder to shake than coming in from -30 degree cold here.

Every time we drive past a huge line at a Tim's drive thru, especially at night, we question our fellow Winnipeggers' taste. I find myself bewildered by so many people loving such poor quality, overpriced stuff.

My podiatrist recommended wearing oofos recovery sandals inside and they have SAVED me. Not cheap but so worth it!

Yes, I've been told nothing can be done as well. I sometimes wear tensor-type braces for extra support, but find decent orthotics (or even just "soles" in a pinch) do more to support my knees than anything else.

So many people are saying this now, yet when the strike was announced figured the workers didn't deserve anything because "we never get mail anymore so why should they get paid more?"

Jorts, I hope you realize just what a service you provide. My friends and I use your posts as a mental health break whenever we feel overwhelmed. Thank you for this.

I wish this spiteful little man would just go away. None of his hate surprises me, but it always saddens me.
