The first response is often deny. Enough people must accept that and go away. If it wasn't a cost effective strategy they wouldn't do it.
I was denied surgery coverage recently. It seemed that Dr. Lastinhisclass disagreed with a physician, chiropractor and neurosurgeon. I appealed and won.

I have a 33 year old daughter who uses she/her and they/them, got top surgery, is married to an amazing woman. I can't wrap my head around not feeling all female or all male, but that's my problem, not hers. She's still my awesome kid who I couldn't love more.

I love cooking but haven't watched a cooking related TV show in at least 5 years. The competitions get ridiculous, cooks & restauranteurs seem to love getting insulted by anyone, and Guy Fieri's voice is worse than nails on a chalkboard.
