There are family stories of my great grandma, at an old age churning out Lefse alone from her kitchen.
We tried a few years ago and between me, my parents, and grandparents, we were way slower than her and couldn't get it as thin.

I've never tried doing a savory Lefse. It's usually topped with butter and sugar and rolled.
But I have some in my freezer and might give it a try.
Then again, I've never had injera, but they look delightful

Thank you for showing me there's a true dark theme on here. I've been on the dim dark theme for too long.

My family's requirements are:
restroom, meal, or sleep outside of an airport.
I crossed Idaho off as a tween by peeing on a speed limit sign at the side of the road.

(quickly googles) Is Lefse a viable housewarming gift?

The Lefse is thin enough it won't jam the fax machine.

If you can make it work, swing into Jacobs Lefse Bakeri.
Best Lefse in the state.

I wore shorts until Thanksgiving break all four years at Iowa.
My friends tried to pin it on my Minnesota upbringing. Really it's my general immunity to the cold.

If I wanted to suggest something beyond Hot Dish for Minnesota it'd either be a Juicy Lucy (a nightmare to veganize) or Bundt Cake (I'm intrigued)

This is the most "Hear Me Out" post I've made in a long time.
My favorite Tom Clancy joint is Net Force.
It's technothriller schlock and I love them for the lack of self-seriousness.
Also, it spawned a great made-for-TV movie with Scott Bakula, Judge Reinhold, and Kris Kristofferson

Yeah, once I read more and saw they were historically loveable losers, I felt good about it.
Didn't realize until later how much the UAE ownership was going to change things.

Yeah, I should archive some specific folders so I don't lose important project info from 2 years ago

My company's "auto delete email after two years" policy is a fucking crime.
