I'm still amazed at the lengths the RCMP went to, and the amount of time and effort they expended to make sure nobody was held to account for the crimes committed in that leadership contest. Those who aren't held accountable tend to offend again, and some of them have.

We know he's a good runner from the footage from Jan. 6. Maybe he could organize a marathon to raise the funds?

Why have that conversation at all? You had that conversation already during the campaign and the result was that Biden stepped aside. That conversation is in the past The problem now is Trump & the Enablers. Have THAT conversation!

Apart from booze there's still loads of American products on our shelves. We just aren't buying them because you A. Threatened our sovereignty, and B. Gutted the agencies who ensured the products were safe. As for the booze, American beer is like making love in a canoe; f*ckn close to water.

Mango Mussolini says Springsteen isn't relevant and Swift isn't hot. As usual he's wrong. They are each of them both hot as well as relevant. 86 47

Also, the price of gas will be jacked right back to where it was In a few weeks. Now that the gas companies know you will pay that for it that's what they will be selling it at. Supply & demand m*thrfkrs.

Not having the carbon levy is going to make 80% of us noticeably poorer. Way to go Pierre. We should never listen to Conservatives.

Basically you'd have had to drive 10x that to cost you $399 at what the gas stations reduced their price by when the levy was axed. The secondary effects on food and consumer goods and the much lower carbon levy on heating fuel don't change the equation much...

Insurance companies generally assume you will drive a private vehicle about 20,000 km in a year (divide your odometer by the age of your car to see how far off that estimate is). So, that's about 5000 km in a quarter year.

Most of the levy was spent on gas for cars. In our area gas went down $.08/L when the levy was axed. At that rate, here's how far you would have to drive a 10L/100km vehicle to pay $399 more if the levy hadn't been axed: $399 / [(.1 L/km)*($.08/L) = 49,875 km

He let the Genie out of the bottle. Now he wants to put it back in? Sadly that's not how Genies usually roll.

Free speech is protected by an amendment to the US constitution. Not a thing in Canada. Our Charter protects freedom of expression. That's even better! If Parker wants to be American he should just move there. Alberta will never separate from Canada.

Hosting Jordan Peterson isn't a crime. Should be and someday maybe will be if Peterson becomes a fugitive for violating our hate speech laws, but isn't yet. The crime was probably related to using Peterson's appearance to illegally raise $ to use in the election. Parker is an a$$. Peterson too.
