The kind of Christian who thinks being faithful means standing in solidarity with those who are oppressed, forgotten, and hated. Advocate for housing our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Opinions, as I best I can tell, are my own. He/him

One of my all time favorites. I love teaching this game, playing this game. Setting up this game. All of it. I have also never ever won this game. I have played at least 50 times. Never. I have played with all first timers, and TRIED. No luck. I think I have a curse.

@kkdumez.bsky.social addresses Evangelical effects effects on the USAFA in a chapter of Jesus and John Wayne. I high recommend it. It has been a while but her research addresses the way Christianity had a negative impact on the academy, promoting excessive violence as a stand in for masculinity.

Bummer, it always is money. I should have known. I just watched as she went from one of the most lauded governors to one of the most underwhelming, at least compared to expectations.

The rate at which she disappeared from progressive relevance is shocking. How? Why? What happened? Is anybody writing this biography?

Baby is now big enough that he will tip said basket over. He is determined to unfold the laundry. He cannot be stopped. Unfolded is the way of the Devine. Chaos will rule. All that is folded will pass away. All that is unfolded shall remain. Perhaps become less folded.

Haha. I was mostly posting out of my ongoing thought that Reddit might actually be the perfect social media platform but I treat it as a public opinion research database instead of a social platform.

I feel like I still see a lot of agreement that the Encore is the best starting grinder for drip setups, but I feel like is it worth mentioning that oxo is at least comparable. And a good bit cheaper. Not coffee, but home barista news: today I made a beet and blueberry matcha latte that slaps.

Me too! Here’s the post: I have had a baratza encore grinder for years and love it. But I today I picked up an oxo grinder at a thrift store because I just wanted to compare and maybe give it as a gift to somebody starting out. It might be better? It is ridiculously fast with great grind quality.

I was a at a conservative Christian university is 2015. I was a republican who didn’t have a clue. I began my skepticism of republicans when McConnell blocked Garland’s Supreme Court appointment. By November I was voting Clinton (somewhat grumpily). In a year I wished I had supported Bernie.

I was down the stairs and had one foot out the door when I heard the scene start. Almost the entire theater had emptied. REALLY important scene, I am so glad I waited just a little bit longer to leave.

Thanks! But we are trying to save every penny right now. It is a really small place and it is definitely already cleaner than when we moved in, so I think we will have cleaning covered ourselves.

We are moving end of May. 😢 But if there is any opportunity to help between now and then let me know!

I know this is not mine to answer but the overnight waitress at the one near me sings through her whole shift and will happily duet but looks absolutely miserable whenever she isn’t singing, she is definitely my favorite character of the Waffle House franchise.

Also all of our diapers are thrifted or Facebook marketplaced. Extra money saving! Extra enviromental friendliness! And disclaimer. We are really lucky to have washer and dryer in our apartment. I unfortunately cannot recommend cloth diapers without them.
