The problem is that companies won't be able to get rid of their rubbish because there will simply be no purchasing power... no jobs, no money. If companies swap human workers for AI, robots etc. on a large scale, they will have to be heavily taxed to finance the UBI... anything else won't work

Lies… again and again. The AFD is not the most popular party in Germany. They had 20.6% in the last federal election. CDU had 25,5. They repeat lies day in day out hoping to transform them to truth. Don’t fall for it.

Since when has there been no judiciary? Has the separation of powers somehow been lost along the way…🙄

When the order comes to the marshals, state police and co, the officers have to decide who they want to swear allegiance to... Actually, the question does not arise. You must swear allegiance to the people and the constitution

Smaller towns and cities in Germany have seen many more people take the streets with their demonstrations against the far-right. But it's a start and builds momentum. The more people see that people are taking to the streets, the more will be motivated to get out of their comfort zone to do the same

Exactly that! The coolest thing about Tron is the world in the computer. From the looks of the trailer, this looks like another generic sci-fi superhero film. And without Bruce and James, there's no Tron for me.

"One of the highest tariff rates, 50 percent, was imposed on the African nation of Lesotho, whose average citizen earns less than $5 a day.
Why? Because the formula for "reciprocal" tariff rates has nothing to do with tariffs."

His whole career is based on lies. He was never the technical genius he pretended to be. His life is a pack of lies that he uses to attract investors like light attracts moths. Consequently, crusading for free speech is also a lie

Good start but there should be more, more, more! Look at Istanbul, Serbia & many other demonstrations in Europe. Millions would have to take to the streets for what is at stake

Didn't Vance rant that there was no freedom of expression in Europe? And that would even be suppressed by the state? And what is this supposed to be? This is typical accusation in a mirror

To regain trust internationally will be a mammoth task. It will take decades to rebuild what has been teared down in days

Still way too high! Tesla is highly overvalued. Didn’t he get kicked once but somehow he managed to return?

Is what the entire government is doing actually treason? It is obviously working against the interest of the United States, the American people. What safeguards are there in the laws against this?

Fun fact: By American standards, the CDU would be categorised as a Democrats 😉 That has always been the case. Unfortunately, the AFD has not lost but rather gained even more votes, but is being excluded as a coalition partner by every party. Many first-time voters voted for Die Linke

Die Leute wählen lieber das Original als die Kopie. Das war schon immer so & daher war dieses ganze Merz-Manöver von vornherein schwachsinnig

The world is once again on the road to imperialism. The USA wants to dominate the American continents, Russia is eyeing Europe and China wants to spread its wings in the Pacific region. After corona, we are driving from one catastrophe to the next with the accelerator pedal pressed to the floor...

I don't quite understand that. In Europe, hundreds of thousands have been marching on the streets for weeks now. Stand up and show everyone: enough is enough

Did he mean the U.S.? I didn’t expect a good self assessment from him. That’s cheap 🤔

Reminds me of Snow Crash by Stephenson. City states, governments non existing and corporate / oligarchs control the cities. Guess Elon & co. are cyberpunk fans.
