Didn’t realize you were a dem strategist when I followed you. Thanks for the tip off to unfollow. Absolutely clueless. You guys have NO ability to self reflect or see what people want from dems with clarity.

"Want to do anarchy with us?!" "Fuck yeah!" *puts a hand up across your eager chest* "Whoah whoah whoah. You gotta do the worksheet first, tiger."

That’s the guy who played Riggins on Friday Night Lights. Taylor Kitsch!

I was JUST hitting reply to be like "WHY do the people who do things like this always have fashion choices that start and end at the end caps of dept store tshirts?!"

Would be curious how you would balance the idea of "promoting a culture of respect" for things like sexual orientation while suggesting that many parents want to "opt out" of their children even being exposed to the idea that some orientations exist or are legitimate. Incompatible perspectives?

Oh yeah--fair enough. There's a lot of apples and oranges in this basket I guess is the takeaway. Maybe even some other fruit categories.

But it's also a weird set of comparison points in other ways too--like the fact that Fortnite requires download and registration, Netflix requires signup, etc. AI requires...going to any of the websites and typing in a box. Of course it would reach more "users" faster--zero barriers to access.

Just guessing at the plot here but I doubt she'll be wearing the costume for too long in this picture if that makes you feel any better...

And that’s just in one small town in rural Iowa! Seriously the excess of drug stores on every corner…of EVERY CORNER was always insane.

There is no better place than sports for holding grudges so tightly that they’re slowly crushed into diamonds from the pressure of your grip on them. The pettier they are the better.

I like that the typo reads like you just adjusted his name to the past tense because you’re over him.

The final destination marketing guys are running out of ideas.

Just keep those eggs away from Grogu.

This is so good. The visual layout marched me right into the joke. Well done!

Thank you for saying this! I read the whole thing and kept thinking "The Atlantic is really just going to treat all of these efforts as if they were legitimate and in good faith???"

Am I the only one who feels like this would have the effect of making millions of people VERY sympathetic to the people featured on the show despite prior political beliefs? tbc it SHOULD NOT EXIST but if it did I feel like it would blow up in their faces?!?

Love slow horses but every season seemed to sneak in slightly more eyebrow raising stuff. Nitpicking overall though. Great show.

So it has multiple upsides is what you’re saying?

There seems to be at least one opinion columnist there who is constantly high as a kite!

Kids have found ways around all that. I’ve been a hs teacher for 25 years. The new meta glasses can record the screen and whisper answers in your ear. Then they pass the answers around to all their friends for the rest of the day. This is all much harder than it sounds. The fight is exhausting

I've been married 20 years and I'm still out here skeeting happily. And I'm also active on BlueSky! (Tracy Jordan voice: word play!)

Same--I enjoyed the entire series but by the end I found myself asking if this was in some ways the same storyline that I had bought into way back in book 1/season 1. The answer was complicated for me.

I just finished the series less than two years ago and have struggled to find anything else to read that is quite as engaging. Would love to hear what did/didn't work for you in Cibola though...I found the series to get increasingly mushy as it went along, as far as scifi realism was concerned.

First thing I'd do is figure out why there's several hundred feet of powerline cables sitting in my driveway. After that the first half of your plan sounds about right.

But I’m using all my hate on the guardians! Stop asking me to expend so much negative energy, MLB!

Lifelong tigers fan here. The blue jays mean nothing to me. But bring up the Kirby Puckett era Twins and I regress 25 years in age and get really volatile 🤣

I get what you’re saying but in the age of social media there’s more interaction between genders than you’d think for kids in all boys or girls schools and there are plenty of girls who reward this behavior.

My HS freshman grew up a super fan and she was like get this shit away from me. (We have blurry swearing boundaries in our house).

This is definitely how I talk about "allies"--by publicly reminding them I see their relationship as one-sided and based on how useful I find them. Why does the ineptitude always carry across multiple layers with these idiots?
