Yes, maybe the translation isn't entirely correct, but that's exactly what "Wermutstropfen" means, because "Tropfen" means "drop", so there's just a small bitter drop in the whole thing.

Really exciting, I'm working on GIS applications and searched for something like this before but Cesium and Mapbox don't offer the flexibility I would like to have.
I implemented the Mercator projection with Javascript/Threejs some years ago, if you are interested and want to go full 3D ;)
