probably. At least that's my guess. I had 1.0.0 reviewed a few days ago and that was set to manual release (that's the one that's currently being rolled out slowly). I then added 1.0.1 on top because i thought this would then just replace the 1.0.0 in the release process. Apparently, I was wrong

Have you selected "Bluesky Social" in the top menu when starting the sign-up dialog? Have you used an email that you haven't used with any other Bluesky account yet? Is your handle less than 18 characters long? All these things will be validated in the next update (due tonight).

I followed the advice to make an account just for flash and keep getting stuck on the final of three screens right after the captcha and it’s kind of stuck and I have done this three times now. Seems like it won’t let me continue and then when I x out I lose everything.

So if you can hold off for another hour or two I would recommend doing that. You'll get a super fresh version (already waiting for review) in which the signup works (doesn't work well in the current version).
Also, you'll probably have to login again when restarting the app after the next update.

No, the update will automatically be available in the app store. Unfortunately, the bug is in the sign up. So it will most likely only affect people who aren't already on Bluesky - and who won't be able to read this....well

In the final app it said that notifications will come from both BlueSky & Flashes.

Regardless of if I may create a separate Flashes account, WHERE do I control notifications for Flashes? The settings don't have anything and in iOS notifications settings there's no Flashes app 🤔

Oh I don’t know. Your flashes account will only hold your pics and videos. Just like IG. So if people only want to follow you for your pics, they can follow you on Flashes only. And you can do the same. At least that’s how I understand how it works.
