It's the masterclass in why voting in local elections is important. Most people don't vote in small scale elections. The stats are there. Vote for dog catcher if one is running, because if a Republican is running, he'll want to euthanize all dogs. Don't like Biden? Vote in small elections.

More than a decade of minority rule in that state. But it only happened because people voted in large enough numbers for statewide elections for Dems to eventually get to a point where the GOP had to concede defeat. And they didn't go down easy.

You need to get to know Greta Neubauer. At 32 (!!), she is the leader of Wisconsin Assembly Dems. The new maps put Dem control of the assembly within reach. She's a big part of the Dem rebound in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is another reminder that Ds are still living with the hangover of 2010, which let Rs take control of many state legislatures and lock in gerrymanders everywhere.

Terrific Greg. States are where action is and where voters are. State leg candidates actually knock doors - GOTV machines. 2024 is first cycle in years with fair maps in WI & MI.
