I can't imagine how badass NFL games would be to watch if we lived in an anthropomorphic world. Rhino bear and elephant linemen. Cheetah reciver. Penalty for accidently mauling. Those games must be insaneeee

I like that they take the furgonomics of species into account for the various players and positions eg. beefy boi species as linebackers, cheetahs as wide recievers etc
Cheerleaders. Beer strong enough for one species, but maybe sold under the table for an extra Fiver to another. Mini powerful blow-systems above your visor and mask to blow away fur after a scrum. Extra big earmuffs for Canines when they set off the fireworks after a touchdown. ;3
Given the NFL's inability to develop a coherent set of rules for what constitutes a "catch," I'm skeptical of their ability to manage something like "accidental mauling."
Oh god imagine felines accidentally popping it because they accidentally retracted their claws when they caught the ball! Haha there just so many fun scenarios you can have with anthropomorphic animals and sports haha
Call me morbid, but when I was a kid and knew nothing about football, and was playing a Madden game, I remember getting an injury timeout and being really curious if it was possible to actually kill a player if I tried hard enough.
I know in one of the old Fifa games, if you keep illegally tackling a player, they won't get up and they get escorted out as an injury and they won't play anymore that game haha
the dudes take so much HGH its essentially like watching half man half beast monsters slam into each other until one is senile enough to be a senator. one dude fr runs out on all fours and says eldritch shit like "my time has come" and roars his foes. best time to watch football since its insane.
I never liked sports but watched the hell out of Animalympics and Bed Knobs and Broomsticks. Please bring the augmented reality players so I can like the sports.
Not AFAIK. But he's compared himself to a squirrel on numerous occasions, and once posted a photoshopped pic of himself (not this one) with a bushy squirrel tail.
Given that they have non-football interests like other folks (e.g., the Patriots had enough anime fans to form a club a few years ago), yeah, I'm pretty sure it's >0.

But the whole series basically revolves around a professional football player finding out and coming out as gay
But also, football with basically what you described :P
PSSSSHHHHH~~~
Have fun.
