I don’t know if I get the volume of engagement here as opposed to the old place, where I had 7-8 times the followers. But I absolutely know that the quality of engagement just flat out crushes by comparison, which matters a lot. Thoughtful humans for the win. - ThreadSky

And it matters professionally. For those of us in work that’s built on support (pod donations, ticket sales, merch, media sales), you’d much rather have fewer followers who are genuine and who care because that’s your base and that’s who will spread word of your work.

We’re planning @maximumfun.org’s Max Fun Drive for March and I’m looking forward to not trying to shout for support in, essentially, an unsafe marketplace full of robots, assholes, and robot assholes.
