Aldi is Less Expensive than most grocery stores.
They are Pro DEI.
Stores are stocked w most popular/ must needs.. not a warehouse.
Clearly I missed something..
*agree that kindness always on my shopping list!
They are not going to have many specialty items, and they have a LOT fewer name brands than other stores
That's why they are less expensive
Instead, they say “We're committed to equitable opportunities that support long term change” and “We believe community support should be based on the needs of each individual community.”

I shop there at least three times per week. They do not support Trump.
We basically stopped buying Teslas at all over night.
My two favorite cashiers are transgender.
I get my meat from IGA though. Incredible Filet’s and roasts, pork chops very good prices on meat but what sold me was how fresh it was. They actually have a butcher .
Seriously, what does aldi in America carry that makes it a struggle store? It’s not luxury, it carries basics/staples plus extras… if you know how to cook, you’re fine. I love aldi

This is a 4 alarm fire. There is no "kind of" compliance that is appropriate.

These removals are to the benefit of employees who do not have to face scrutiny from Trump administration.
Pretty common these days for companies to hide policies!
Their brand of protein drinks are soy free
Stopping there first freed up at least $20.
I just don't get my meat from there.
The cuts tend to be pretty poor.
Dry and frozen goods tend to be fine.
If Aldi and Lidl would import them from the EU they would be more expensive than their domestic competitors, tariffs or not. Certain items may be imported from the EU but that's priced in.
Just an interesting twist to this idea, how about a meal with discounted products only? My Kroger has a lot of mark downs. Yesterday, hit the motherload on onions so I made French onion soup topped with croutons from the discount rack.
Red bell pepper hummus
Balsamic vinegar
Red bell pepper, onion, garlic, carrot, tomatoes
Roast veggies with salt and oil (put root veggies in first, then add the rest 20 min later)
Add veggies to blender w hummus, balsamic, and Italian spices. Blend.
Dip toast.
