Also if you're poor as shit and took a retirement disbursement early or have gig income, you can't use direct file anyway. Florida myFRS enjoyers are out, and so is anyone earning money from social media / content.

Some friends recommended FreeTaxUSA and they kick ass pretty hard

More than 50% of Americans should simply not have to file taxes - they should get a postcard in the mail that says here’s what you owe / what you are owed - any issues… send us proof - otherwise okay done.

Serious countries do this - it’s insane we aren’t capable of this. The gov has the data.
