Honestly this is The Way™️ to find steady employment in creative industries: get “pretty good” at a lot of different transferable skills. In my experience, that will either protect you from layoffs or help you pivot far easier than being “brilliant” at just one skill would.

I think too many people who are brilliant in one arena, think that they are brilliant in every arena, and I think that causes a lot of problems societally
