Musk's management of Twitter has never centered on any clear free speech or even ideological principles, but the simpler personalist principle that he will downgrade speech he dislikes or is critical of him, and boost his own voice and those of supporters.

How Bluesky is attempting to create an equitable experience. Hint: it doesn't involve the whims of multi billionaires.
1) Make Twitter easier to manipulate and abuse by revealing those who would follow Elon's orders, and intimidate all the others remaining; and
2) Reduce the financial bleeding to appease Elon's tech bro investors.
But they did signify an assertion of power by management over workers, which did appeal to Elon's investors
