(I’d imagine most immigration lawyers have experience mainly with marriage visas, fewer have experience defending clients in deportation proceedings at immigration courts, and even fewer have also presented arguments in federal circuit courts?)

She has different lawyers for each, as it's a prominent case. In less prominent cases it can sometimes be the same person or sometimes two different people.

Oh, thank goodness! She was kidnapped walking distance from where I live, just blocks from our first apartment in Boston (Medford/Somerville line.) This kind of thing makes me so angry -- the perfomative cruelty, the laziness, the lawlesnesss, the private prisons, the attacks on researchers. Grrrr.

Doesn't this order give the government a week to transfer her to VT -- i.e., until 5/14? Do you expect Judge Sessions to push back the 5/9 bail hearing until she's in the district, so he can order her release at the hearing? (As Judge Crawford did for Mr. Mahdawi.)
