Linux Updates: "Got some updates. It's on you to run them"
Windows Updates: "It looks like you're trying to work, I'm going stop everything you're doing right now"
I personally advice linux mint as it is very user friendly and you can use wine or steam proton to run basically any Windows application and as a nice bonus it is more stable and lightweight too
Sleep is unreliable. Shutdown is unreliable. Hibernate does what is friggin told.
Windows is like, “you have to have this presentation done in an hour? Tough. I need to update the next twenty minutes. And don’t whine or it’ll be thirty.”

Its has a yellow dot overlay shutdown icon.
It has more option "Update and Shutdown".
