This is gonna be a killer show. Love breaking down the image historical figures build for themselves. I just finished Andrew Mango’s “Atatürk” which absolutely tears apart so many of the Kemalist fantasies that dominate the discussion today.

Yeah, the most interesting part of the show thus far (for me at least) has been seeing the real, concerted efforts people were making towards building a specific (positive) legacy for themselves.
