The times I've run into horny toads, they've generally been scared, and not interested in being friends. Had one squirt blood out of its eye onto my wife's boot before she realized it was there.

They really are wonderfully weird. I ended up with one with no sense of heights or basic logic but also somehow a deep understanding of whenever I was upset? He was the best buddy for 9 years and I think I’ll always have a soft spot for them now
