I came from a blue collar family. I was able to get a great education at a public school , work and finance my way through college and graduate school. That was 40 years ago, before Reagan. Impossible now. I understand the resentment and rage.

The ones who have turned to Sports Gambling as income are indeed "dumb". A very low percentage of sports gamblers profit long term and most lose money. 95% of sports bettors are net losers.
