Yep, Trump making great friends with Putin, we get it. There are quite some people who had seen this coming years ago, but they got laughed at: "Trump is very tough on Putin!"
Oh they are aware, the just want the ceasefire to fail and be able to blame Ukraine for it. Which would give Trump a perfect excuse to abandon Ukraine completely.
So that would mean US admitting they have 0 leverage over neither russia nor Ukraine and can't make a ceasefire happen (not in 24 hours, and not in 10 weeks, and not in a year)?
Only if they actually realized that this is the case, but I'm pretty sure Trump thinks that the US is omnipotent and that everyone will just obey his whims. He's in for a ride awakening when he realizes that the EU is composed on 27 countries who have no reason to obey.
