I won't compromise on my position to not work for morally dubious companies.
I would rather go hungry.

2 - Used to work at a No.2 (no laughing at the back). Being in Aberdeen, 90% of companies up here are oil and gas related.
3 - 100% wouldn't touch.
4 - Possibly. Depends on the practices of the firm.
If forced, then betting, but I would hate it.
I left a job because they started producing bomb release mechanisms.
Most people use oil/gas.
54% gamble (according to Gambling Commission), only 12% smoke these days.
I am surprised at the popularity of debt collection though. I didn’t count that as a common event in people’s lives 🤔
It is the oil and gas companies that can make the biggest difference to climate change, many of them invest in renewables now.
Is it as much as we’d like? No, but it is something. There’s potential to do good there.

And encourage more investment in renewables, from the inside.
(When did working in the O&G industry start drawing comparison to marketing tobacco or taxing the poor (betting))? 🙄
