They actually flew some flat earthers down to Antarctica to see the 24 hour sun (something that’s not possible according to them) and at least one guy has given up being a flat earther and the community is not having a good time

I was having the same thoughts. There's a 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days thing you can do that includes a trip to Antarctica but it costs 50 thousand euros and you have to run 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents. This seems like a way easier path. Let's just say I think the earth is flat!

That wouldn't work. Flerfers think there's no South Pole, just an ice wall surrounding the disc Earth. Their 'model' would be fine with 24 hour sun in the north.
