I have not had cable news on since about 8:30 or 9 pm on Nov 5. It’s like, even though the unthinkable happened, in some ways life got quieter and softer. I’ve decided i am not going to listen to the sound of DJT’s voice or the sound of Dems bashing Dems.Staying off cable news helps me achieve both!

I've always been a fan of NPR and PBS. I can even forgive them for their weak coverage of congress. Under Bush congress threatened to defund them. They have become very hesitant to speak out on the subject of donor money or congressional corruption.

I have listened to NPR for years. I turned everything off in early July because of anxiety but I continue to give to them monthly. I think they do a great job even if I don’t agree. We need them going forward.

I just don’t think that will happen. A lot of their operating costs are Member supported. I’m going to be a Pollyanna and believe they will survive. I do understand that perhaps you don’t see that happening.
