Iceland is great! It's not perfect, but where is? The system however is difficult for non EEA/EU citizens to stay here though. You will need a work permit and residency visa. Fairly hard to find work here because it's just so dang small here! But if you can, I do love it.

The little research I’ve done in the past about moving aboard seems to be the same story with visas and work permits. I don’t think I’ll ever have enough money or work skills needed to move out of the US. I get why it’s hard to get into other countries, wish I had the resources to make it happen
