If Canada really wants to turn the American public against tariffs all they gotta do is wait a week and cut the juice to the USA 5 min before the Super Bowl

Do that. And with a chicken wing shortage due to bird flu. And no guac because avocados are stopped at the border, and we have a revolution by 4:00 pm est
The SB game is in Louisiana, a power shut-down from Canada wouldn't affect them there.

Here's a rough map of the electric grid interconnects, so you can see they don't balance with Louisiana:
The majority of my hometown's electricity production goes to New York State. That station's only Canadian customers are itself, and an aluminum plant next door to it.
That's risky, there's a strong likelihood that the propaganda spin could be put on it that Canada did it and now we need to make them pay. Conservatives are the dumbest, most servile and easily lead around people in the world, they might start baying for blood.
Canada sells a lot of power to the upper states in the US. Trump started a trade war today with Canada and Mexico by instituting 25% tariffs on most goods into the US, but only 10% on energy because it's so important to states. However, Canada can decide what tariffs to levy in return as well as
what not to export to the US. So they can decide not to export energy to the states. Doing so for the Super Bowl, the biggest event of the tv-watching calendar, would cause a major disruption and a lot of pissed off Americans. Enough mad people and Trump maybe reverses course.
Fingers crossed. And when it comes back on it only will connect to your house after you watch three minute video explaining tariffs and listing all the ways orange dildo has broken the law inn2025, then pass a comprehension test of the video.
Someone on here said as soon as Philly cinched the win we all but guaranteed there would be national upheaval that day. Too much pent up energy. Now I see how right they truly were.

The automotive industry hit is gonna be huge, which sucks since UAW is the better of the really loud unions.
