Our initial focus will be on mechanisms of cell adhesion and morphogenesis. How did the first animals hold their cells together? Are there deeply conserved mechanisms underlying embryonic morphogenesis in metazoans?

Haha video uploading seems to be a common issue with BlueSky… impressive to get such a nice staining in a live specimen (and I think I had forgotten Ephydatia had such close collar contacts)

I also learned the hard way that gifs don’t play here.

Our own lab hack: use PPT as a video editor. You can export the gif as an MP4, or other format.
