This is true in Denver, too.

Unfortunately, there are those who oppose planting more trees as though they're the "cause" for the neighborhood being wealthier.

In Denver, I believe the wealthier white neighborhoods were established first & got more trees over the years.

walk across neighborhood lines in San Diego for a couple of hours as I often do, and the extreme correlation between income and trees is VERY VERY clear and VERY impactful to the way that people are able to use space (as everyone who actually works with civic infrastructure knows)
