Yeah I distinctly remember my first office job 20 years ago, and I tried to respond to an email with “Mr./Mrs. [Vendor Contact],” and realizing I had no idea how to address them based on their first name. This was like my 2nd day on the job! Pronouns would have been very appreciated.

My brother told me how him and his boss were discussing a difference in opinion between two engineers on a technical issue. When my brother endorsed one engineer over the other, his boss leaned in conspiratorially and whispered “he has pronouns in his email!”
