I believe in evolution and all that, but I still have no idea how natural selection convinces and then rewards a tiny fish for going up and trying to subsist on food it finds on the face of a massive predator.

I haven't gotten to Galapagos but I dived Socorro, off the Pacific Coast of Mexico, which is part of the same system and has a lot of the same animals. It was *incredible* diving. Same for Cocos Island off Costa Rica.

Galapagos is on the bucket list but it's very expensive.

I'm doing Cocos in May. All of these places are a haul--had to steam 32 hours each way to get to Socorro--but well worth it.

It truly was an awesome experience but do your research with the outfits there! We lost our go pro and leader found it on a later dive …was nice enough to send card but kept go pro lol! Nice tip o top of tip I’d say!
