Joe is conservative I don't think he's Republican like you see now. The whole point of morning Joe is to have more debate than anything. I think we don't have as much of the new Republican point of view at all frankly which is good and I think it's it's a good start for the morning
The goal of being a progressive is not necessarily to get rid of morning Joe I think a lot of it is there's just too much push back about his meeting with Trump but if you look at it they didn't buckle the Trump the way the others have

Please don't begrudge Keith a break. He said he'd be back to daily podcasts in January after he takes a breather. Also, the biograph in the Variety article says that Countdown is a daily.
I don't know Keith personally, but I suspect he records the podcasts in bursts through the afternoon and then edits them together and drops them in the (digital) bin, from which they're uploaded automatically at midnight.

MSNBC will never truly become what we wish. It's not Trump's fascism so much as the corporate addiction to cash flow; they're beholden to too many people. The advantage of the podcast model is that it can be done on the cheap by a few dedicated enthusiasts.
Agreed. For me, almost without noticing I suddenly realize YouTube has overtaken cable channels for my news consumption. Where else can I get 90 minutes of Ron Brownstein on a podcast, instead of 3 minutes on CNN interrupted by dumb questions.

MSNBC is a sellout and a corrupt corporate media. There are 2 or 3 on air talents who are trying their best but I am not sure about people behind the scene. Most importantly as you know better than anyone the empty suits are grifters and they only think they care is their bank accounts.
Nah, them two do nothing but suck the oxygen out of everything for 4 hours a day and then pat themselves on the back for it. Give that air time to better people and maybe (prolly not) viewership will slowly come back
