Mr. McKean, I was watching some episodes of Smallville. Your appearance as Perry White was some of the best acting I've ever seen. Why they didn't grab you as Perry for the various movies I'll never know.

The biggest shame was that he died right before Forrest Ackerman came out with Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine. There was a whole new audience that would have loved him. And don’t forget his last film… Plan 9!
His blue plaque is at his birthplace 36 Forest Hill Road in South London and there’s also a memorial at St Paul’s church, Covent Garden - The Actors’ Church

I remember that it was 5:30 am on very cold dark February morning Sunday the 2nd I was a paperboy. The Sunday Times was so thick you had divide the sections to get it through a letterbox. This is how I saw the small column on the front page that said Boris had died and I never forgot that moment!
