Really? The bit I think is very windows is the introduction of ssh to posh. This is something Windows product owners should be screaming for instead of AI doodaddery.

OpenSSH on Windows has been around for a bit. It's support has just gotten a whole lot better in the last few years. PowerShell being cross platform has just made it the easy choice for a lot of teams.
Sure. That’s actually what I am commenting on. I don’t know but I am presuming that someone in Microsoft is sat caring about making windows easier to administer for enterprises and people running lots of instances.
you mean because the PowerShell folks handle the Windows OpenSSH distro? I'd obviously defer to @steve--lee.bsky.social here but my feeling is between the Linux support and the integration of things like Azure CLI and the way you can use PowerShell to manage AWS resources that it's beyond Windows
I was suggesting that while PowerShell will clearly always love Windows that it's also now a much bigger project than just 'a bit of Windows' but beyond that, I'm equally confused!
